Power couple heads to USA

JOHANNESBURG – Winston and Delia-Venisha Ho are an all-rounded artistic powerhouse and are set to the international stages by storm.

If you’ve ever wondered what a power couple looks like, Johannesburg-based Winston and Delia-Venisha Ho are the perfect pair with big dreams and stars in their eyes.

The couple are heading to the Arts (The Applause Rising Talent Showcase) Talent Competition in Orlando, USA, in July, with high hopes of being scouted by big Hollywood talent agents.

Arts is a family owned and operated international organisation which gives aspiring actors, singers, dancers and fashion and commercial models the opportunity to perform on a Hollywood set and Broadway-style stage in front of hundreds of agents worldwide and a live audience.

Competition categories include on-camera auditions for TV, Cold-Read, Comedy and Improvisation, dancing and singing.

Winston has had a passion for performance art since childhood.

“I have always enjoyed performing in front of people. I used to play in bands, but life happens. I started working and had less time to focus on my talents. That passion has been re-ignited though.”

He added that young aspiring actors, dancers and singers should never give up on their dreams and that they should always keep working on their talents.

Delia-Venisha has been a singer since the age of seven and has been a professional for more than four years.

“I’ve always loved singing. I used to sing for a few bands, but decided to go solo and spread my wings.”

The married couple feels strongly about giving back to South Africa and Delia-Venisha made it clear that even if they find success in the States, they will always be South Africans first.

“As a bi-racial couple we believe in spreading a message of racial tolerance. We are South African and will always give back to our country,” said Delia-Venisha.

The couple will also perform in the Dance Of The Butterfly production at the Lynnwood Conference Centre on 28 May.
