Looking for cuddles and a new home

SANDTON - As winter approaches, it's getting cold in the kennels as these furry animals wait for their future mom and dad to adopt them.

The Sandton SPCA has a wonderful group of furry friends up for adoption this week and is appealing to community members to adopt a pet, but also advises that adoption will involve a home inspection by the organisation.

Additionally, members will have to pay for the vaccination, deworming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

Mimzy is cross Jack Russell. She is a sweet two-year-old who was found unwanted by the Sandton SPCA.

Mr Plod is a five-year-old basset. He was found as a stray and has a lot of character.

Terry is a 10-month-old cross-terrier. She was found as a stray by the SPCA and is described as very friendly.

Tess is a docile cross-breed. She is a four-year-old who was found as a stray by the SPCA.

Cindy is a nine-month-old tabby domestic shorthair. She was found as a stray by the Sandton SPCA and is extremely cuddly.

Lizzy is a black and white domestic shorthair. She is a lovable one-year-old who was found as a stray by the organisation.
