St Peter’s reign as champions in the Gauteng division of Dance Sport School League

SUNNINGHILL - St Peter's College hosted the finals of the Gauteng division of Dance Sport School League for Street Dance.

 

Schools that participated included Queens High School, Redhill School, Crawford Sandton and Curro Aurora.

St Peter’s College was placed first overall with Queens High School second, third went to Redhill School, Crawford Sandton was fourth and Curro Aurora came fifth.

The dancers’ results from St Peter’s College are:

  •  In the U14 girls category, the first place winner was Katiso Mochela who has won for the third time in a row. Tamryn Govender was placed fourth.
  •  In the U14 boys category, second place went to Sicelo Mgaga, Thabiso Ndlovu came fourth, Kanya Mahanjana came sixth, Letlhogonolo Montshiwage was placed seventh and Obirimpong Osei-Bonsu eighth.
  •  In the U16 girls category, second place went to Zinhle Mthembu, Dimpho Mahlagare came third and Samantha Meiring came sixth.
  •  In the U16 boys category, fourth place went to Katlego Senabe, Lungelo Masisi came in sixth place and Michele Brachini seventh.
  •  In the open boys category Christopher Mukheibir came in seventh place. In the open girls category Thandolwethu Msiza came first, Kerry Gregory was placed second and Maxine Ross third, fifth place went to Katlego Mojapelo, Savannah Collison came sixth and Lehlogonolo Maripane seventh.
