Raising funds for Smile Foundation

JOBURG – A climber’s dream to ascend a total of nine summits is driven by the need to raise funds for children who have facial abnormalities in South Africa.

Naz Kremzar, who works in Sandton, is appealing to the community to help her in making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

She has already raised some funds after climbing two summits. “Over the next four years I intend to climb the remaining of the seven summits, the highest peak on each continent, as well as other majestic mountains across the globe,” said Kremzar.

In partnership with The Smile Foundation, she said the challenge would be used to provide funds and infrastructure to help the most impoverished regions of the country. “More importantly, though, I hope to make a positive impact on these children’s futures,” she added.

The Smile Foundation is a non-profit organisation that brings people together for the purpose of providing expert surgical intervention for children with facial defects, and creating greater social involvement and enabling sensible corporate-social investment for the cause.

Kremzar’s next climb will be in December and he’s hoping that the community can assist him in reaching out to companies and individuals who can spare donations for every step he climbs towards the charity fund.
