Mystery Ghost Bus Tour
All those in search of ghosts that haunt the city, while listening to ghostly tales and legends, will love the Mystery Ghost Bus Tour. Those brave enough can gain entry to one of the city’s dark haunted rooms, a historic cemetery and into other off-the-bus stops. The bus tour doesn’t only pass the scariest places, but also a number of pubs along the way where passengers can get themselves some liquid courage.

Zombie Walk #9
It’s the time to dig up some willing ghouls and do the zombie shuffle this Halloween. Zombie Walk #9 will be on a Saturday this year, so drag along the entire family. There’s nothing scarier than an entire zombie family – from the old folks who need minimal make-up and practise, to the ankle biting, flesh eating little monsters. The zombie hoards will be meeting at the gates of Westpark Cemetery.

Halloween at Sci-Bono
The Sci-Bono Discovery Centre encourages children to get involved in science by allowing them to view various exhibitions at the centre and learn from them. During Halloween, it will be no different as they continue to encourage kids to visit the venue and dress up in their scariest attire as well. They will learn how to make lava lamps and scary sounds from household materials, so join in the scares.

BENT Zombie Ball
BENT will be hosting a ball to die for in Illovo on 31 October, and you’re invited. There will be special effects make-up artists, but most importantly, there will be zombies, ghosts and ghouls everywhere. Lindi Lush, Van Loca, Karma and Stigma will be the terrifying DJs who will get the zombies moving a little faster than usual. Don’t miss out on this horrific experience.

Halloween Dodgeball
An open dodgeball tournament will be taking place in Fourways for all the zombies and ghouls in the area. All those who would like to try their hand at dodgeball with a Halloween theme, are welcome to this tournament. Arrive in a themed costume and stand a chance of winning some awesome prizes. There are prizes for best-dressed, team spirit and the tournament winners. The day promises to be a unique experience, filled with fun, dodging, dipping, ducking and drinking.
