Live jazz at George Lea Park Sports Club
PARKMORE – International band, Jazznova, is set to perform at the George Lea Park Sports Club on 4 October.
Together with a star-studded local lineup and a strong media partnership with Kaya FM and Mzansi Magic, event promoters Flowers Events promise a day of festivities in the spirit of summer.
Jazznova is the ever evolving Berlin eclectic collective. Having performed at every massive festival across the globe over the past five years, they are no strangers to South Africa. They were firm favourites at the Cape Town Jazz Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival as they delivered the richness and sublimity of their productions on stage.
They will share the stage with a boastfully diverse local lineup, including the sensational Nathi, Kabomo, Maleh, house legends Oskido and Vinny Da Vinci, Nicky B, TBose, DJ Pepsi and DJ Choice.
Honorary South African house sensation, Monique Bingham, will also perform to add some additional spice to the festival, while Kaya FM’s Bob Mabena and Mo G will host the event.
The show offers an exciting live summer experience and is billed as a great family event. A dedicated and supervised children’s area will be set up where parents can sign in their children to enjoy various activities during the day.
For the adults, there will be cocktails in a tented area, an open bar and food stalls.
