Iron Maiden’s coming to Jozi for one show only
JOHANNESBURG – Rock legends Iron Maiden will be giving Jozi crowds one heck of a show on The Book of Souls World Tour in May next year.
Iron Maiden’s new studio double album, The Book Of Souls debuted at number four in South Africa. Vocalist Bruce Dickinson said, “We cannot wait to get back out on tour. I’m especially delighted to be coming to South Africa, as although the band has played here before, it’ll be the first time that Adrian Smith and myself will be touring here as part of Iron Maiden, so we’re really looking forward to seeing all our fans.”
The band, their crew and all of the equipment they’ll be using to rock Jozi’s world will be arriving on Ed Force One, a Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet that will be piloted by none other than Dickinson himself – talk about a rock star entrance.
Iron Maiden will be playing two shows while in the country, one on 18 May at the Grand Arena in Cape Town and another on 21 May on the Carnival City Festival lawns in Johannebsurg.

Tickets will be available from 9am on 17 September from Computicket or bogconcerts.co.za.
Ticket prices range from R510 to R905 in Cape Town and R620 to R905 for the Jozi show.
