Roxette heads to SA

JOBURG - Big Concerts has just confirmed that Roxette will make their way to South Africa next year.

To the delight of all pop-rock fans, Swedish duo Roxette is set to head to South Africa – a four-date addition to their 30th anniversary world tour. Their ongoing world tour will lead up to the celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary next year.

XXX – The 30th Anniversary Tour has been celebrated by critics and fans all over the world, and has sold out several legendary arenas such as The O2 Arena in London, Olympia in Paris and Olympiahalle in Munich.

More than four years have passed since Roxette last visited South Africa to perform 10 sold-out shows between 2011 and 2012 on the world tour that followed the release of the album Charm School in February 2011.

Due to the phenomenal demand they received on their last tour, it is recommended that fans book their tickets early for next year’s show dates. Tickets are set to go on sale on 14 August from 9am.

The Roxette world tour, which will hit Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, has received rave reviews from international publications.
