The suspects jumped out of their white BMW and proceeded to flee on foot but were arrested. Further investigation revealed that the BMW was reported hijacked in Lenasia in January this year.

Police recovered five unlicensed firearms including three 9mm pistols and two R5 rifles, two blue lights, two reflector jackets, hand cuffs, cable ties, ammunition for different calibre firearms and a siren.

The Cluster Commander of Alexandra applauded the members of the police for a job well done and said that they were not ruling out the possibility of linking the suspects to other crimes that were committed in the Cluster.
