Woman extricated from vehicle in Sandton accident

ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, said paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the woman entrapped in her vehicle. The two other vehicles involved in the incident were close by.

“Paramedics and Fire and Rescue Services worked together to extricate the woman from the vehicle,” he said.

“She [the woman] was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries,” Bodasing explained. The woman was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care. Occupants of the other vehicles were uninjured.

The exact cause of the collision is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
