Marlboro makes winter warmer with blanket drive

The drive, which took place on 13 June, saw community members, along with the ladies from Baitun Khair, a listed Helping Hands initiative, distribute blankets to various charitable organisations in Alexandra as part of their annual blanket drive.

Some of the recipients included the elderly in Seswetla Informal Settlement and the children from Lucky Duck, a non-profit daycare centre, among others.

The community is also involved with other organisations in Alexandra and works closely with the Sandton Crisis Centre in the event of a fire emergency.
