A kingdom of fun for Easter
MONTECASINO - For those who aren't able to pack the car and head for the coast over the Easter weekend, the Zulu Kingdom Easter Beach Festival at Montecasino will be the place to be.
Picture a tropical beach playground with sand, cocktails, Calypso music and hopefully lots of sunshine.
The festival will run from 3 to 6 April and entry is absolutely free of charge.
Children will get all the fun of a seaside holiday without spending five hours on the backseat of the family car. From 10am to 5pm daily, there will be treasure hunts, hoola hoop competitions, sandcastle building and tug-o-war competitions and much more. For those who like a bit of ‘me time’ in the outdoors, the Midlands Meander Picnic Area will give guests the best of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands without having to leave Jozi.
Yet when the sun goes down, the festival’s beach party will delight guests with marimba music, fire dancers and a cocktail bar.
