One-man show is a laughing matter

MONTECASINO - Giggles, guffaws, chuckles and snorts filled Pieter Toerien's Montecasino Theatre and Studio during the performance of Alan Committie in the The Sound of Laughter.

The one-man show teaches the audience that laughter is the best medicine for dealing with stress and anxiety, using hilarious anecdotes, wicked puns and a hint of physical comedy.

Committie is exceptionally talented and fills the stage with his larger than life yet charming presence.

Touching on subjects such as social media, aging, the Banting diet, The War Horse, the Oscar Pistorius trial and of course the State of the Nation Address, Committie makes it all a laughing matter.

Expect clever comedy and lots of audience interaction.

The Sound of Laughter will run until 15 March. Shows take place from Wednesday to Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 4pm and 8pm and Sunday at 3pm.
