Irate customer slams Cell C

SANDTON - An irate customer has blasted cellular network Cell C by placing a massive banner on Beyer's Naude Drive which states "the most useless service provider in South Africa".

The client also blasted the company’s Sandton City franchise manager, Riaan van Rooyen and an unnamed ‘executive head’ for allegedly refusing to assist a customer.

The banner had Twitter in a frenzy as #Cellc started trending. Twitter users rushed to add their comments.

It is unclear when the banner went up or who is behind the daring message, but Cell C media liaison officer, Vinnie Santu, said the company was aware of the banner.

“We can confirm that there is a dispute between Cell C and the customer responsible for the banner and we are attempting to resolve the matter,” she said.
