Condolences pour in for Senzo Meyiwa
JOBURG - Just minutes after the news of the tragic death of Bafana Bafana and Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa broke, many took to Twitter to express their condolences.
Meyiwa was shot dead while visiting his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo in the East Rand on 26 October.
It has been reported Meyiwa was shot while protecting his girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo after an attempted robbery.
National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega announced on 27 October that a special task team had been set up to investigate the murder of Meyiwa.
Soccer fans, friends and celebrities tweeted, expressing deep shock and a sense of loss.
