An invitation to High Holiday Services
SANDTON - The Chabad Goodness and Kindness Centre in Sandton will host all High Holiday Services from 24 to 26 September.
“Our services will be warm, friendly and traditional,” said Rabbi Ari Kievman, the director of the centre.
The centre is a branch of Chabad House Johannesburg and one of more than 3 000 Chabad centres in the world. It is one of the largest network of Jewish religious and social services.
Kievman said all were welcome to attend the services in Sandton, free of charge, regardless of background or affiliation.
The services will be user-friendly, and made enjoyable and meaningful for both the seasoned and the unversed. Also, the services will be in Hebrew and follow traditional customs interspersed with modern Jewish tunes and English readings.
“At our new and unique cosmopolitan shul we cater to the needs of visitors as well as those living in the Sandton area, everyone is welcome,” added Kievman.
