Centre to ‘Bring out the Bling’ for Casual Day
WILLOWILD - As the public gears up to support those with disabilities, Forest Farm Centre will be participating in Casual Day this year by hosting a fun event at the centre and encouraging public support.

The centre will be selling Casual Day stickers and encourages the public to support their cause by buying stickers from them. Taryn White of Forest Farm explained the significance of the day and its cause.
“As one of the beneficiaries of Casual Day, we use the day as one way to raise funds for our cause and to ensure that our patients are taken care of,” she said.
White also explained that by buying stickers directly from the organisation, the public would be ensuring that some of the funds raised go to those who need it the most.
She added that the theme for this year was Bring Out the Bling, which encourages people to support those suffering from cerebral palsy.
“At Forest Farm, we want the public, especially Sandton residents, to support our cause as we are right in the area and are in need of any form of support,” White stressed.
Casual Day will be on 5 September this year and is focused on raising funds for people with disabilities, provides opportunities for corporate comradeship, and encourages civil society to come together in aid of disability-related issues.
The campaign encourages the public to make a small contribution of R10 for a sticker.
