Crawford International School learners celebrate Nelson Mandela Day in style

Crawford International School marks Nelson Mandela's birth anniversary.

Crawford International Sandton Pre-Primary together with the preparatory school demonstrated their commitment to helping those in need by organising various initiatives for Mandela Day.

The Pre-Primary children took the initiative to collect scarves, which they then hung on the school fence for individuals lacking warm clothing during the winter months. Additionally, they prepared sandwiches to distribute to individuals who do not have access to food.

This collaborative effort by the learners of Crawford International Sandton Pre-Primary and Preparatory resonates with Nelson Mandela’s belief that each individual can make a significant impact through small acts of kindness.

Furthermore, the Preparatory children contributed by collecting Teddy Bears to donate to the Teddy Bear Clinic. This organisation plays a crucial role in assisting children who have experienced trauma due to circumstances beyond their control.
