Michael Mount share their love and clothes on Valentine’s Day

Teachers of Michael Mount Waldorf School proud of their Grade 10 learners after successfully donating 235 bags of clothes to the Clothes to Good organisation on Valentine's Day.

The truest form of love is giving which Grade 10 learners of Michael Mount Waldorf School displayed during their Valentine’s Day celebration.

The school’s Valentine’s Day tradition of tasking their Grade 10 learners with making a difference within their community started years ago and continues to go strong. Learners partnered up with Clothes to Good, an organisation that focuses on recycling second-hand clothes to ensure that nothing goes to waste.

Despite the learners orchestrating the collection in the rain, representatives from both the school and the organisation were proud of what they accomplished during their initiative.

“Michael Mount wishes to extend a big thank you to Clothes to Good for their positive work, to our dedicated Grade 10 learners, and to everyone who contributed to our drive this year. We look forward to those in the years to come,” said the headmaster of the school, William Bester.

Learners were able to collect a total of 235 bags of clothes for the Clothes to Good organisation on February 14.
