Sandton’s fierce female dancers unite for a morning of fun

The community's local dance studios ended Women's Month off with a fun-filled family friendly dance exhibition in Nelson Mandela Square.

Nelson Mandela Square came alive as the community’s best dance instructors and enthusiasts united in Sandton for a fun-filled day.

Women of all ages came together on August 20 to take part in various demonstrations and exhibitions, covering an array of dances such as ballet, belly dancing, Cali salsa, line dancing, the samba and many more.

The event was hosted by BailaAfrika Afro Latin Dance School and Artist Souls.

According to Artist Souls’ Paola Diaz, this was the perfect family-friendly occasion to have some fun as well as provide a platform for these amazing women to showcase their talents and their various dance schools.

Small female-owned brands also had the opportunity to showcase their businesses.
