No rest for ward councillor as he tackles issues in the community

BUCCLEUCH – Officials have already started planning and repairing serious issues around Buccleuch and Modderfontein as stated by the ward councillor of Ward 32

Even though DB Moloisane has never been a ward councillor, the new position as the councillor of Ward 32 holds no intimidation for the man who aspires to help his community in any possible way that he can.

Moloisane was given the green light to serve his community after the municipal elections for the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) results came in favour of him. The highly driven councillor discussed a few of his main goals for the year.

“Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) is in the process of appointing a contractor to start with the road resurfacing in parts of the Klipfontein View area. The Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) is in the process of appointing a contractor to assist with the construction of the Klipfontein View clinic, treatment centre and sports ground,” said Moloisane.

Moloisane touched on how last year, the City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor, Dr Mpho Phalatse, promised to provide effective and efficient service deliveries to all residents situated in Johannesburg. Officials have already started planning and repairing serious issues around Buccleuch and Modderfontein as stated by the councillor of Ward 32.

The councillor shared that on February 16, he will be starting the stakeholder engagement. He added that the engagement will focus on building relationships with other stakeholders in hopes of solidifying a plan to make communities safe and sound from issues.

“A personal request to businesses: Please do not engage with anyone who knocks on your door claiming to have been sent by the ward councillor to seek employment or donations.”

If you are in need of contacting the ward councillor on specific questions related to the development of the community, please contact DB Moloisane on WhatsApp 072 039 3517 or call 081 582 5055.
