A special day with Ashraful Aid

KELVIN – The ladies had a number of activities planned, which included face painting, fun games and an arts and crafts session which saw the children creating their own veggie pots out of recycled materials.

The Ashraful Aid ladies volunteer group recently treated the children at the Juno Aurora Haven in Kelvin to a day of fun as part of its Donate A Plate initiative.

“We had a heart-warming feeling as we were greeted with warm smiles and enthusiastic kiddies who were excited to have some fun,” said the humanitarian organisation on social media.

The day ended off with a lunch for both the children and the volunteers.
