Bramley police encourage school safety

WYNBERG – Officers handed out pamphlets to the learners with a safety guide which outlines a number of safety tips and important contact information for the learners to remember.

Highlighting the importance of child safety both in and out of school, officers of Bramley Police Station joined the back to school buzz at Sandtoview School on January 12.

Police station spokesperson Captain Molefe Mogodi was joined by Social Crime Prevention officers Sergeant Tsakane Evelyn Sambo and Captain Eric Mathye along with members of the Bramley SAPS Youth Desk.

According to Mogodi, it is important for police officers to engage with learners and teach them the importance of safety.

“The aim is to provide school kids and their parents with school safety tips.”
