947 riders breeze through Hyde Park
JOBURG – Thousands took to the streets of Johannesburg for the 947 Ride Joburg.

Thousands of cyclists took in the sites as they tackled this year’s 947 Ride Joburg on November 21.
Dubbed as Africa’s most iconic cycling event, the gruelling 97km road race saw riders travel through Johannesburg CBD, Fourways, Bryanston, Randburg, Rosebank and the surrounding areas.
The Sandton Chronicle captured a few riders in high spirits heading down Jan Smuts Avenue near Hyde Park Corner, surely with the finish line in mind.

After a dramatic deliberation, pro-cyclist Ashleigh Moolman took home the win for the women.
Pro-cyclist Travis Stedman secured first place in an incredible sprint finish for the men.
