Emergency water shutdown in Sandton
SANDTON – Residents are encouraged to check the Johannesburg Water Twitter and Facebook page for updates.
Johannesburg Water has announced that there is currently an emergency water shutdown taking place in Sandton and the surrounding suburbs.
According to the City entity, the shutdown began today, November 8, at 08:00 and is expected to end at 19:00.
The 11-hour shutdown will allow Johannesburg Water to fix a 375mm pipe on Cleveland Road in Sandhurst.
The following suburbs are affected:
- Sandhurst
- Sandton CBD
- Parkmore
- Parts of Illovo
- Wierda Valley
- Atholl
- Inanda
- Benmore
- Hurlingham
- Atholl Gardens
- Hyde Park
- Willowind
- Strathavon
- Sandown
- Morningside
- Kramerville.
