HYDE PARK – The group will lead under the guidance of head senior councillors Philip Ajayi and Leago Mphahlele, with the assistance of deputy head senior councillors Jaylynn O’Connor and Tevin Reddy.

Hyde Park High School recently announced its senior councillors, also known as grey tie leaders, who will lead the school into the new year.

Deputy principal Esme Aling welcomed the learners, who will now take over from the current Grade 12 senior councillors, at a formal assembly.

The group will lead under the guidance of the red tie head senior councillors Philip Ajayi and Leago Mphahlele, with the assistance of deputy head senior councillors Jaylynn O’Connor and Tevin Reddy.

“The grey tie leaders will work closely with the schools management team and have already held a meeting with their peers in Grade 11 to discuss and propose new and positive ways of fulfilling their responsibilities,” concluded Aling.
