Visual artist inspires hope

SANDTON – The book launched with a visual exhibition at Sandton City on September 21.

From musicians to mavericks, humanitarians to health heroes, our country has an abundance of talented people living out their dreams.

The stories of 32 of these iconic individuals are shared in Marc Gregory’s latest book, In Good Company.

The book, which launched with a visual exhibition at Sandton City on September 21, shares the exceptional perspectives and stories of some of the country’s top achievers in their respective fields through visual iconography cleverly woven into the fine art and short stories.

Ayanda Thabethe, Professor Thuli Madonsela, Pearl Thusi, J’Something, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Maps Maponyane and Minnie Dlamini-Jones are among the personalities that feature in the visual book.

Describing himself as a ‘visual chemist’, Gregory spent over two years compiling and creating the visual showcase.

“In Good Company is a powerful artistic chronicle, inspiring hope and courage and what better location to house this collection than at an iconic property that inspires dreams on a daily basis through a unique offering of brands and tenants, than Sandton City,” said Sandton City general manager Preston Gabb.

The In Good Company exhibition is available to view at Sandton City until October 24 and the book is available at Exclusive Books.
