Municipal elections 2021: How to check if you are registered and where #IMadeMyMark
JOBURG – #IMadeMyMark, make sure you find out if you are registered for the municipal elections and where.
With voter registration weekend upon us on September 18 and 19, the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) encourages all voters to check if they are registered to vote.
To check your registration details (including where you are registered), voters can use any of the following:
• Send an SMS with your ID number to 32810 (SMS charged at R1)
• Download the IEC mobile app and enter your ID number
• Check your voter registration status online on www.elections.org. za/pw/Voter/Voter-Information
• Check at your local IEC office during office hours.
