Brescia House exercises mindfulness this holiday season

"We wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with health, joy, and prosperity."

This holiday season Brescia House School would like to emphasise how important it is to remain mindful of others and their needs.

During this unprecedented time, the school has rallied together all year long.

School heads Ann Owgan and Loredana Borello said, “We have lived our Brescia House School motto, serviam, through the many service projects that parents, staff and pupils have contributed to, giving joy and respite.”

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, Witkoppen Primary School, CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa, Kids Haven, the Teddy Bear Clinic and the St Vincent de Paul Association at Bryanston Catholic Church were among the beneficiaries.

“Our thanks go to our Brescia House School community for living up to the values of St Angela (our patroness) by demonstrating caring, and building relationships based on love and charity.

“We wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with health, joy, and prosperity. To our matrics of 2020, may your future be bright and may you remain grounded in the Ursuline values.”
