Learners from Sandton’s Grayston Preparatory arrived at school the morning of 19 August to find that the playground had become a winter wonderland.
The swings and cricket nets were among the equipment on the school’s playground which was completely covered in ice and icicles.
Juliette and her brother Kevin Van Vught were amazed by the scenery.
“I always knew Grayston Preparatory was the best school and now it is not only the best and most fun school, it is [also] a winter wonderland,” said Juliette.
