SANDTON – MMC Nico De Jager said the City has spent R45 million on streetlight instalments and repairs thus far for this financial year.
Executive Mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba alongside City Power attended a public lighting project in Buccleuch this morning at 9.30am where they installed 113 streetlights.
This is after the community submitted a formal request for the City to do so. This is said to be a R2-million project.
