Three vehicle collision leaves two people dead in Bryanston

BRYANSTON – Two other patients sustained serious to moderate injuries and were transported to a hospital for further treatment.


Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Petunia Street in Bryanston, Sandton on the morning of 21 October.

Spokesperson for Netcare 911 Shawn Herbst said their paramedics arrived on the scene to find a light motor vehicle, a light delivery vehicle and SUV were involved in a collision.

“Medics assessed the scene and found that an adult male and female from the car sustained fatal injuries and were sadly declared deceased on the scene,” he said.

Two other adult males sustained moderate to serious injuries and were treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic, once stabilised they were transported by private ambulance to a hospital to receive further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene to conduct further investigations.
