Support the Sandton SPCA’s outreach programme

SANDTON – The Sandton SPCA will be providing vaccinations and sterilisations for pet in the Alexandra community.

The Sandton SPCA will be hosting an outreach day on 27 September to ensure that animals in Alexandra have been vaccinated.

The outreach programme, in conjunction with the Department of Environmental Health, will teach pet owners the importance of vaccinating their animals against rabies. They will also raise awareness about the importance of sterilising pets. Wilna Lamb, the education officer at the Sandton SPCA, said that they hope to also raise enough funds so that they can vaccinate and sterilise animals on the day.

A donation of R450 funds the sterilisation and vaccination of one pet. For more details contact education@sandtonspca.org.za
