Police arrest two suspects allegedly involved in Buccleuch house robbery

BUCCLEUCH – The two men were arrested in Tembisa one day after they were allegedly involved in the house robbery.


Police officers successfully arrested two men believed to be behind a house robbery in Buccleuch.

Captain Granville Meyer, the spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station said, “In order to combat serious and violent crime, excellent detective work resulted in two suspects being arrested for house robbery in Tembisa yesterday [21 August].”

The suspects, aged 28 and 38, were allegedly involved in a house robbery in Buccleuch on August 20 where they also stole a motor vehicle during the robbery.

The Johannesburg North Trio task team acted on information about the suspects and found them in possession of the stolen motor vehicle.

The suspects are currently in detention and will appear in court soon.
