A former sports coach at Bryanston High School is due to appear in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on charges of sexual harassment.
The 33-year-old man was arrested earlier this year for allegedly sexually abusing learners at the school. One of the learners laid criminal charges against the coach. He appeared briefly in court on 12 March where the case was postponed to 15 April.
In a disciplinary panel hearing, the school found that the man was guilty of charges of sexual harassment and financial mismanagement and the coach was fired from his position.
