UPDATE: One man injured during shooting on Grayston Drive Bridge

SANDTON – The man was treated at the scene and transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Update:

Captain Granville Meyer, the spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station said that the victim had been driving along Grayston Drive when three men got out of the vehicle and demanded that he hand over an undisclosed amount of cash. He confirmed that the victim had been shot in the arm and is currently in a stable condition.

Meyer added that two charges, one for attempted murder and one for robbery, have been opened.

 

Earlier, 1pm

One man has sustained injuries to his arm following an alleged robbery on Grayston Drive Bridge on 26 October.

Jurgen Kotze from Emer-G-Med confirmed that they had been called to the scene to treat a man who had been shot in the arm, allegedly during a robbery. Kotze added that the man had been treated at the scene and was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
