The Sandton police recently arrested two suspects for a house robbery in Gallo Manor.
Spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station, Captain Granville Meyer, said two 31-year-old suspects were arrested after residents contacted the police.
“The suspects gained entry to the property by using an axe, they then threatened the domestic and stole various items in the house.”
Meyer said they were apprehended by police as they tried to leave the premises. “All the stolen goods were recovered and the suspects are currently in detention and will appear in court soon,” ended Meyer.
