Miss South Africa: Another reason to smile

SANDTON – The Cahi Dental Centre has pledged to sponsor the dental care of 19 orphans and their caretakers for the year.

Children from Alexandra were treated to free dental consultations at the Cahi Dental and Prosthodontic Practice in Sandton.

On 9 May, 24 children were hosted at the dental centre, along with Miss South Africa, Ade van Heerden and the top 12 Miss South Africa finalists. The children are all from impoverished backgrounds, 19 of whom are orphans, and are lovingly taken care of by Mamma Sally and her helpers all on a pro bona basis dependent on gifts and donations.

Cahi Dental Practice, who are also official sponsors of the Miss South Africa pageant, has pledged to take care of the children’s dental and oral care for a year, in honour of their Miss South Africa sponsorship.

The children were also treated to fun and games and a healthy, wholesome lunch.
