ALERT: Take out those jackets, cold temps hit Joburg today
JOBURG – 4 ways to keep warm that don't cost a thing.
Some might say that winter has almost arrived and this could not be more true with cold temperatures hitting the City today, 14 May.
Pull out those blankets and jackets as temperatures will, according to SA Weather Service, range from 8 degrees to 13 degrees with widespread showers and thundershowers.

The press release indicates that the entity is monitoring a cut-off low-pressure system which will affect multiple parts of the country including Gauteng.
Here are some ways to keep warm:
1) Wear multiple layers of clothing, then prepare to peel them off when you get into the office
2) Block gaps and air leaks in windows and doors to cut out draughts
3) Hot water bottles are a great way to keep warm and conserve electricity
4) Cuddle up with your pets and make sure they are protected from the cold weather
