The Sandton Field and Study Centre gets a welcome donation

SANDTON – The Sandton Field and Study Centre to keep trim.

The Sandton Field and Study Centre is a recreational park and community facility that focuses on the development of skills for all ages, and is recreation and leisure facility which is a much-loved part of the Sandton community.

Maintaining the park can be a daunting exercise and keeping it looking tip-top takes more work than some might realise. Keeping this park looking pristine has been made a little easier thanks to the Sandton Rotary Club and the Steel Wings Harley Davidson Club, who have graciously donated a weed trimmer to the park.

“We hold our annual Fun Day at the Field and Study Park for children with special needs. It’s always great fun and we thought we’d give back to the people who maintain this wonderful venue” said Craig Northwood, club president.

Rose Johnson of the Friends of the Field and Study Park is extremely grateful for the kind donation. “This weed trimmer will go a long way in keeping the park looking in tip-top condition and will get to the nitty gritty spaces where our larger equipment can’t reach. We would like to thank the Sandton Rotary Club as well as the Steel Wings Club for this amazing addition.”
