Hirsch’s Woman in Business Achiever of the Year Gala

MAGALIESSIG – Read what took place at this year's Hirsch's Woman in Business Achiever of the Year gala.

Guests gathered at the Hirsch’s Woman in Business Achiever of the Year gala at Montecasino’s ballroom.

Margaret Hirsch established the competition and said she wanted to see more women achieving in business.

She added that the awards gave credibility to one’s business.

“As women, we tend to shy away from being in the limelight,” she said. “We also tend not to be assertive enough. With this, it is my way of encouraging women to put themselves and their businesses in the spotlight. The winners and runners-up are people who not only run successful businesses, but are making a difference to the lives of others in all the areas in which they live and ultimately, the lives of people in our beautiful country, South Africa.”

The regional winner for Gauteng was Fourways finalist, Lori Milner of Beyond the Dress.

Runner-up was Natalie Morrow from Centurion and in third place was Robynn Liesa Niemack from East Rand.
