Teen actor makes a difference

SANDTON – Diolan Govender, a 14-year-old actor, has become a part of the Forever Changed campaign for cancer sufferers.

 

At the age of 14, a young actor, Diolan Govender, has joined an organisation for cancer warriors.

Govender attends school in Durban, but spends a lot of his time in Sandton with his family and performs on international stages around the world.

In the Sandton Chronicle article, Forever changed alternative, the Forever Changed campaign was described. This campaign aims to show cancer sufferers that they have a choice when it comes to treatment.

Addi Lang, the founder of the campaign said, “The latest update for this dynamic fireball is that he has officially been appointed as one of the Forever Changed brand ambassadors and, as an influencer, he will spread the global warning that the Forever Changed Global Awareness Campaign carries.”

Lang refers to her supporters and ambassadors as ‘butterflies’ and said that she is extremely proud to have this young ‘fireball’ as a part of her team. She has a background in the arts and puts a lot of time into finding ambassadors that are performers.

She describes this movement as a global warning. “The warning is that we all have the choice of how we want to live our lives and that there are other options for cancer warriors, as treatment options, other than chemotherapy.

Diolan will also work with the team of ambassadors to host a series of events in Durban, called Dance of The Butterfly, which screens the riveting Forever Changed documentary [about cancer].”
