Magical night of music at Grayston

JOBURG NORTH – Grayston Preparatory School hosts a magical night of music.

Grayston Preparatory School hosted the annual Magic of Music Festival recently.

Spokesperson for the school, Nicole Liebenberg said “The Magic of Music has been one of the school’s community service initiatives for some 20 years. Nine independent schools in Gauteng participated in this year’s event.”

The first night saw performances by Grayston Preparatory School, Dainfern College, St Mary’s School Waverley, Carlswald House Preparatory and Redhill School; with the second night hosting great talents from schools such as Roedean School, Beaulieu Preparatory and St Stithians Girls’ and Boys’ Colleges.

Liebenberg said, “It is said that music is powerful. It provokes memories, changes our moods and brings people together. It is something everybody understands, no matter their race, religion or culture. This highlights the values that Grayston Preparatory School upholds.”

The event celebrated music while raising funds for the Johannesburg Children’s Home and was proudly sponsored by Dot Office National, Benmore Flowers and SA Golfing.

Liebenberg added, “Grayston Preparatory School and the Johannesburg Children’s Home would like to thank all the participants for their generosity.”
