A dynamic man

SANDTON – Thomas Kgokolo, an MBA student at the Gordon Institute of Business (Gibs) in Sandton has a passion for success.

 

Thomas Kgokolo is not only a qualified chartered accountant studying towards an MBA at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (Gibs) in Sandton, but is also a dynamic entrepreneur and public speaker.

It is hard to define Kgokolo as he is a businessman, an academic and most importantly, a leader. At the young age of 32, he has accomplished an extraordinary amount and believes that everyone should go the extra mile.

He is currently the chief executive officer of Sunstrike Capital, a financial services provider.

“I want to make a difference and I love serving people. I think that the youths need to believe in themselves from the beginning. If we believe in ourselves then others can believe in us too. Aspiring businessmen and women need to take risks. It is so important to take a gamble and do things that are not the norm,” said Kgokolo.

He started his life from humble beginnings at a township school and said that when started university he did not even know how a computer worked. “When I worked at Standard Bank, I would leave for work at 4am and would only leave the office at 11pm. I also had to work to pay for my studies.”

He is filled with an extraordinary amount of ambition and has even trained government officials. His goal for next year is to do his doctorate.

This visionary said that an education is exceptionally important and that the youth should always hang onto their education.
