Healthy donations

Sandton - Bliss Juicery is promoting health by donating fresh juices to underprivileged pupils.

Children’s yoga instructor, Sarah Hedding, believes that health is of utmost importance for school pupils.

It is for this reason that she not only teaches underprivileged pupils yoga but also delivers fresh juice to children. These juices are donated by Bliss Juicery, and Hedding delivered some to Vuleka Early Learning Centre in Benmore. The children were exceptionally grateful for these sweet and healthy treats.

“We aim to help people embrace a healthier lifestyle and our juices are 100 percent natural with no added sugars, preservatives, flavourants or colourants,” explained Samantha Eldridge of Bliss Juicery.

She added that their juices lasted for three days in the fridge. “When it comes to the fourth day, we take the juices out of the fridge and keep them aside for Sarah to take for her children at the school when she does her charity yoga.

“They are still 100 percent fine for consumption and super nutritious, we just cannot sell them past the third day. So rather than waste, we put the juices to good use and give them to the children.”

She highlighted that the juices have an array of healthy vitamins and minerals that the pupils can benefit from.

Hedding said she promoted health and well-being through her yoga classes and believes that these healthy juices go hand-in-hand with the health that yoga brings.
