The Blues train at Hyde Park High School

JOHANNESBURG - Read up on how The Blues rugby team trains at Hyde Park High School and give pupils the opportunity to witness great sporting action.

Ahead of their match against the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth, The Blues rugby team from New Zealand held their last training session at Hyde Park High School on 5 May.

Competing in the Super Rugby Tournament, the team gave the pupils of the school the opportunity to see professional rugby players in action before the team headed off to PE.

Spokesperson for the school, Avril Wright said, “The team was very complimentary to the school on the condition of their fields and were met by the headmaster, Manolis Vogiatzis, where a signed jersey was handed over for display in the school’s Caselli Sports Pavilion.”
