Mad Domestic Watch meetings for February

SANDTON - The Making A Difference (Mad) Domestic Watch will host a series of new crime lessons covering the topic of 'Criminal cons – warnings of potential danger' in Sandton in February.

Founder of Mad Domestic Watch, Penny Steyn said, “I think, too often, the domestics could, or are, sometimes blamed for being conned by criminals. I think sometimes they just know no better. It devastates me when those who don’t attend lessons don’t know any better and the results are catastrophic.

“Frankly, there is no room left for these special folk not to be empowered and knowledgeable about the crime cons used.”

The lessons will also cover the various con techniques used by criminals.

The lessons in Sandton will be held in the following venues:

  •  Sandton Police Station’s lapa on 17 February at 1.30pm
  •  St Michael’s Church in Bryanston on 18 February at 11.30am
  •  Christian Science Church in Bryanston on 19 February at 12pm
