As the new year has started, it brings a new season of promise but, unfortunately, also a new season for criminals in the area.
I urge people to please be vigilant and cautious as the year gets under way. Especially those driving around at night and driving through high-risk areas.
We all know the sting of January, and so do criminals lurking in the area, this creates desperation and a desperate criminal is possibly the worst type of criminal.
Unfortunately, we see less police in January than we do in December, however, their services seem to be getting better.
Please don’t give anyone the opportunity, let’s take it upon ourselves and choose to be safe.
