JOBURG - It is believed that there are about 40 000 EFF members marching towards Sandton.
UPDATE: 5:30pm –
It has been reported that the EFF march has turned violent with some EFF members forcing their way through barricades on Maude Street that police officers had put in place.

UPDATE: 16:20pm – According to reports, some EFF supporters are already in Sandton at the corner of Friedman Street and Rivonia Road, while some are at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
