Multiple injuries in William Nicol taxi crash
SANDTON - Two taxis and a light motor vehicle collided at the corner of Sandton and William Nicol Drives on the morning of 11 August.
According to ER24 paramedics who attended the scene along with other emergency services, 16 people were injured in the collision.
The injuries ranged from minor to critical.

Paramedics began treatment of the patients on scene and provided advanced life support to a critically injured patient.
All patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.

The critically injured patient was transported to Joburg General Hospital for urgent medical attention.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities are reportedly conducting investigations.
